Hotel Fletzinger has been conducted by Anna Steinbacher since 2014. Grown up in Vogtareuth, where her parents run the Vogtareuther Hof, she experienced the catering and hotel industry from her childhood on. After school, she did a basic vocational school year in gastronomy. Because of her passion for cooking, Anna did an apprenticeship as a chef at the Gocklwirt am Simssee. After she successfully completed the apprenticeship, she turned to star gastronomy – to the brothers `Obauer´ in Werfen in the south of Salzburg. At the early age of 19 she started her career as Entremetier at `Heinz Winkler´in Aschau, Chiemgau. Hotel Fletzinger was up for sale in 2013. The family fulfilled a dream and bought the hotel and Anna Steinbacher became hotel manager at the age of 20. With a lot of discipline, determination and charm, she has successfully managed the hotel since 2014.

The Steinbacher family is the host of Hotel Fletzinger in Wasserburg am Inn. Stefan and Marianne Steinbacher have also been running the traditional restaurant Vogtareuther Hof since 1992. Their daughter runs Hotel Fletzinger and their son Stefan Jr. creatively supports his grandfather in the family- owned butcher shop in Pfaffing. Marianne Steinbacher, née Bichler, comes from a family of restaurant proprietors. The family’s businesses include the `Gasthaus Bichler´ with it’s own butcher shop in Ramerberg near Rott am Inn as well as the `Pfaffinger Hof´. Stefan Steinbacher Sr. has been breeding trout, salmon trout, rainbow trout, char and sturgeon at the Gunzenham Fishpond since 2008. All fish and sausages are sourced from the family owned shops. .
